B.A. required?

I have just recently started seriously considering applying to optometry school, but I noticed at http://www.opted.org/info_profile2.cfm that is says for some schools a B.A. is required. Does this mean that a B.A. degree is required for admission as opposed to a B.S. degree?

Hi kiira -- welcome to sdn!

The BA requirement refers to either a BA or BS -- some schools just require that students have a bachelor's degree before beginning their programs.
