Do plasma cells and memory B cells maintain the membrane IgM and IgD the parent cell had?

In the process of maturation of plasma cells the surface immunoglobulins are lost so in early stages they may still be found but later on, on mature plasma cells they tend to be absent since those cells do not bind antigen the way naive B cells do.
