So i just got my organic chemistry 2 grade back, and got a B-, which is a lot worse than i expected. I got an A in orgo 1, and I had a really tough professor that doesnt scale for orgo 2, so a B- resulted. I'm balancing between going to PA school or Med school, and i'm now starting to lean towards PA. If my orgo grades are an A in orgo 1, B- in orgo 2, and an A in lab, how bad will this hurt me. I'm a transfer student, my GPA at my old school was a 3.95 (spent 2 years there) and my GPA at my new school (UMass-Amherst Honors College) is a 3.72, with 2 semesters left. How badly will this B- hurt me, it's the worst grade I've ever received.
This makes my semester grades:
physics 1 (A)
Biology writing (A)
Microbiology (A-)
Organic Chem lab (A)
Organic Chemistry 2 (B-)
Also, for those asking, this grade isn't pushing me to PA school, even before this semester I was leaning towards PA because I don't know if i want that much more schooling.
