When applying to PhD programs, does it make a difference whether you have a B.S. or B.A. in psychology? Is one viewed with higher regard than the other? I have a minor in biology, would it appear strange if I had a B.A. instead of a B.S? Thank you in advance.

Doubt it will matter. I'm actually in the same boat with the biology minor, not even sure if I'm a BA or BS.

But really, they'll be too busy looking at your GRE scores, GPA, and research experiences to even think about whether your a BA or BS.

Not to mention the large portion of applicants will most likely have BA's.

i wouldn't worry too much. some colleges only offer BAs while others offer BSs.

likeliness is the gradschool isn't gonna take too much consideration whether u have a BS or BA
