Well I got my first set of B's in A+P II for the lab and lecture. I missed an A by 1 point in lab and 8 points in the lecture. I am pissed cause its my first B I have gotten in my science classes. Oh well I guess I should have figured I would'nt get straight A's all the way through and then apply for dental school. 🙁

wtf.. I am sorry but you have to realize you shouldn't continue trying for dental school because as you know only students that have straight A's get accepted. See when I applied to VCU I had 2 B+, they said I had to retake the courses and get A's in them b4 they let me interview. So if I were you, I would call/e-mail/meet your dean and beg him/her to retake the courses because with anything less than A Dental schools WILL NOT grant you an interview!

Nope, he's definitely not joking. If you don't have straight A's you pretty much have very little chance. Unless...and this is your one and only possibility...you get 28's or higher on all sections of the DAT. I know...because I was rejected with one B+ and 27's across the board on my DAT.

I think a lot of us have been in that position before, you just get freaked out with a B. But believe it or not, a B is a decent grade, especially for a science class at most universities. I wouldn't stress too much, don't let it offset your future 3.9.

LOL....great job not mentioning that ur 4.0 came from a Community College... u should shoot urself for getting a B, hope u still have that same mindset when u transfer to a real college
