I've read that most medical schools require a minimum of three years of undergrad. I'm currently going into my last year of undergrad but i'm strongly considering going towards the medical health field, namely a post baccalaureate program after college but I was wondering if I can just completely skip my senior year and go directly to getting my medical school prereqs. Has anyone considered or have done this?

thanks,
Nicholas

Although a number of med schools don't explicitly require a college degree, most implicitly do. You will not run into anyone in med school who didn't graduate from college. Don't try to be the unique one here.

you'll get a ridiculous amount of red flags in your application, and even more questions in the interview that question your character, if you even make it to the interview process. Theyll probably ask questions like, if she had one year left but didnt finsih it because she wanted to come to medical school, why should we offer her a spot, if she might pull the same thing in medical school one year away from graduation? Whats not to say that she will flake out to something that might attract her attention. Stick with the senior year, you're that close to getting a degree, why run the marathon to stop a mile short of finishing?
