I was waitlisted at NYU for the last cycle. So disappointed for a while but told myself to try again harder for this cycle. I realized in order to make myself more competitive for schools, I needed a stronger DAT scores. I submitted AADSAS (pretty late because it took some time to regain my focus on this) around late November. I retook the DAT at late December after intense study for a month.
I received a score of TS:22 / AA:21.
Here's little my background. I messed up at my undergrad gpa little under 3.0, so I chose to go to Barry U for masters. I graduated with 3.9 gpa at M.S.
I got an interview last cycle, however was wailtlisted and finally got rejected at NYU.
One of the admissions committee members encouraged me to take DAT once more for the reapply. I hesitated for a while after being rejected even though I tried so hard at my Masters. But I didn't want to lie down so here I am again for this cycle.
This time I applied: NYU, Tufts, Nova, Temple, Tufts, Creighton, Case, BU, MW
I know I applied very late.. BUT trying is better than doing nothing right?
Please let me know how you think. Any opinions~ 😕
