Hey guys,

So I received a few interviews this cycle so far and I scheduled two of them on back to back days. They both are mornings so I plan to fly in the day before my first, do my first, fly the afternoon to my second, and then do the second the morning following.

My thought process was that it would be beneficial as I'll be ready after my initial prep. Additionally, it worked with my schedule the best with finals in my classes.

Has anyone ever done this? I'm worried about being burnt out, but I don't see any huge issues.

Thanks!

Yeah it happens quite often! I just did it a couple weeks ago and my only issues were with my airline. Due to delays I almost missed my connecting flight en route from interview A to interview B. I recommend never flying the last flight of the day if you can help it 🤣

I knew a few applicants that did this and it worked out fine, just make sure you're leaving enough buffer time to catch a later flight if you run into unexpected delays. Interviews are usually a lot less stressful than people worry about - I don't think burnout is a concern.

That's what I was expecting. Thank you!

Back to back (had 1 day in between) was beneficial for me as the second interview felt extremely easy because the first one got me in a very good mindset. I would probably prefer clumped interviews. Just get some rest and read up on the school so do some prep individually for the school

Hey OP. Most of my interviews are turning out this way. I have 3 interviews over 4 days. I was a little worried about it at first, but I think it should be fine. It will be nice to have some momentum from each interview which should help with being more comfortable for the next. I agree that the trickiest thing will be the flights. I'm avoiding the last flight of the day and am choosing at least an hour of layover time for any connecting flight.

BTW, Congratulations on the interviews. I am working with quite a few students in the interview process at this time. Never easy to juggle a school schedule along with the necessary traveling. Your plan is quite doable and I have worked with students that have juggled even more and it worked out just fine.

Good luck on your interviews and if you have any questions on the interview process you can always message here or in my study group.

I had back to back interviews. It was hectic, had to fly out, interview, fly to another city right after my first interview, and drive 200 miles to attend the second one the day after. Thing is, everything was fresh in my mind. All my interview answers...etc. What I did to prevent being too exhausted was to drink TONS of coffee the morning of my second interview, I also had energy shots in my bag for right before the interview. It made me seem excited to be there and learn when all I wanted to do was sleep.
