Ok. But in a game like this we have no real strong reasons beyond ANYONE'S words. 🙂 I mean, you could have single-handedly popped the first two wolves and I could still say "Meh, Trilt is busing."

All I'm saying is: Stay on target. I'm not a wolf. I doubt you're a wolf. Don't turn this into a thing where two villagers start having a stare-down. We've all seen it happen.
Also, man, where's @SummerTheLynx to make that exact "Trilt is bussing" comment lol... you know he damn well would.

She spewed on Monday I think but I don't think she updated them since then with any new information gained since then, even though people were asking today.

Which is why I'm still holding off on re-lynching for a few min. If the goal for waiting was to not reach plurality too fast...then let's not reach plurality too fast.

Last chance Jil, otherwise I'm reinstating my vote from yesterday, and I think that will put it over the edge.

Meh. Suck it up buttercup. I don't think you're a wolf, and I'm not staring you down, but I'm also not just letting you go lightly. I suggest you not do the same for me either.

*shrug* I think it's reasonable for me to respond. You threw shade. A couple other posters commented on it as well. Now you're sorta pulling a "hey, I wasn't really saying anything, why are you overreacting?"

I don't think I am. You know exactly how these things go, and then two days get spent with a few villagers yanking each other's chains.

If you want to turn it into a stupid personal thing with comment like "buttercup," ok, fine, but.... not terribly useful.

This literally just happened in the immuno game where I got lynched for not voicing suspicions I didn't have. You want to do it again because you think maybe this time I'm a wolf, then go for it. The only reason I've talked about it as much as I have is because people keep harping on about it. Guess I should have just ignored it.

Lynch jil

I won't be home by the deadline.

Meh. When I think I'm about to die as a villager I like to post my reads so that people can (hopefully) go back and read them with the context that I was most definitely not lying (as I've been cleared by death). I get excessively grumpy when people try and lynch me as a villager so I get that, but we win as a group not as individuals. Give us your reads and theories and we'll know they're coming from a pure place once you apparently flip village.

Again (I'm pretty sure I said this...), idgaf about STL's read at this point. I'm mostly testing my theory on Zen at this point, and if you want to explain why a wolf would be convinced that STL was a role seer who knew you were a wolf without you being a wolf, I'm all ears.
I've literally been defending myself for a week! I've given my reads, so yes, I want the village to win, but I'm not going to give up my time and my plans for tonight to stop, turn on my computer and analyze play. Most times I would, but most times I'm not being lynched for bs that had nothing to do with anything I actually said or did and I've been defending for a full SEVEN days now.

As for your second paragraph, you are implying I knew what zen was thinking, which I don't know. I honestly think she was trying to throw shade my way and it backfired and got her lynched instead, but I guess it didn't fully backfire because you are still lynching me now with not one person saying "I'm lynching Jil because SHE said ...." no im being lynched over STL and zen and I guess a few think I have crazy theories, but those crazy theories wouldn't have ever come up if I weren't in this position.

So yes, when I thought I was about to be lynched, I posted my ideas. I have since posted theories and been ridiculed for them. So next time you are being lynched as a villager after defining yourself every day for a week, please let me know how willing you are to alter your real life plans to accommodate a village that really doesn't care what you say.

You threw out stuff about lynching you to know an answer... it was more of a reaction than I think what was basically "hey let's not write off/forget about LIS" necessarily warranted. That's all.

Anyway about to be plurality, so throwing this out there in case I die overnight:

At this point I'd go AM. AM is often a quiet player, but she has no checks going her way in my spreadsheet and has had a couple posts that definitely make me hrrmph. In any case, she's not contributing much. IIRC from a quick scan at my spreadsheet, whatever way she flips (and especially if she goes wolf) will give some good information if people take the time to go back and analyze a little, too.

Oh yes, quick glance tells me that Nessie has lynched AM twice early game, and AM lynched Finn D1. If she flips wolf, much decreased suspicion on Nessie (and vice versa) and Finn who are question marks. Nessie seems to be trying to play a little more so in the spirit of fun and my feels I'd personally go AM next, but who knows what'll happen.

You're not contextualizing well because you're considering only your initial comment in isolation.

You wrote that comment, sure. And I ignored it for a while (for exactly why I described). Then as I read the thread and saw other people (at least twice, maybe three?) picking up on your comment..... it starts to get annoying.

If you can't understand that, I'm not gonna bother trying to further explain it. In the FULL context, my response was very appropriate, I think.

I'd be ok with that. I've had AM on my list a while, as noted a couple times previously.

That said, Finnick keeps moving further wolf to me, while Abners keeps moving further village to me. So I'd be ok with a Finnick lynch, too.

Some people have been looking at mmmdream.... I had her down as strong village early game, with zero marks since then. So. Dunno.

I personally also would like to talk about AM next. She said she wanted to get better this game and post more content, but hasn't really followed through with that and has been saying everything is just based on feels and not much of what other people are saying that are making her :eyebrow:

By the way, for those listening. STL is the idiot savant because occasionally he's right, but often for the absolute WRONG reason, and I stand by his being wrong or flat out lying about his read on me.

Minor correction. When he's idiot savanting, it's ALWAYS the wrong reason.

People always end up having blank spots on their spreadsheet about me, so if you want to ask me questions to fill those gaps. Go ahead.

Nah, I get where you're coming from. Just, truly, take it in the spirit of "LIS is a great player and we shouldn't forget him" not in "I actually have legitimate suspicions about LIS." 🙂

Hush @SkiOtter.

Weird kills again.

I didn't vote because Jilary was 95+% wolf and I didn't want to hit plurality. Note how she pushed it even half an hour early and scrambled to post.

I get your reasoning but is hitting plurality when we are all pretty much agreed on who to vote for really a bad thing...especially with such long day cycles?

IDK. Still feeling Jil as more village. I may be duped but not voting that way. In case I get busy today, casting lynch vote now.

Lynch AM

Because still feels that are not going away with more posts.

What was it about Jil that made you think she was village?

yes imo. Unless you can convince everyone to say what they'd say in two days over one, I want the conversation. Plus first night last cycle I basically crashed, so having another night to argue with people was helpful.

Plus, @HowConfusing... we were all on one person. Unless the mods just didn't show up for a while, there was going to be almost half the field that didn't vote just by plurality rules, lol. Another reason why they're not my favourite.

I'd be shocked to see two packs in this game. Could easily be a wolf with an extra kill ability or night vig gone wrong, though.

I'll be gone most of the daytime hours today, but:

@kcoughli, you're being annoyingly quiet. Tell me things.

@Animal Midwife, you're going to have to convince me to not lynch you. Whatchu got?
Blame the phone for the first weird post. End of rotation got annoyingly busy. By the time I got home last night lynch had just closed, and then of course the thread was locked.

I have many thoughts right now, most of which I'd like to substantiate with some thread rereading.

First though, this is our second night with two kills correct? N2 and N4? And someone mentioned that we've had both mafia and wolves? I'm planning on checking that out in the write ups to be sure but to me that would hint at two packs essentially. Plus STL, which is starting to feel not very basic at all.

So do we think STL just never decided to kill anyone? Obviously doesn't matter as much now that we know he was right about Jil, but would incline me to think he was perhaps leaning more village than wolf.

Planning to look at voting patterns if I get a chance today. Particularly our known wolves AND our recent victims. The NY, DVMD, and Drs / SAR feel like really strange choices. Feels like there were better options out there, yourself included.

Well that does make sense with plurality but it also just made it seem kind of easy to have an excuse to have less of a vote history. However, I think you're right and big picture will still be best overall now that we have several days of voting.

2 of the lynches have been werewolves and one has been mafia though so it does sound essentially like two "packs". And who knows how many neutral players. We've had two deaths for only two nights though so I'm kind of wondering if STL actually ever killed anybody or if it's even possible to tell. I also wonder if the mafias and wolves would be aware of each other. It would definitely change tactics. Is there any history in other games of this happening?

That would be super annoying if there is both a mafia and a Wolfpack, means I need to reread again bleh. On my phone, so can someone tell who were the people that came up as mafia vs as wolves? I didn't actually read the roles each time, I just saw they were red lol.

Ok now I understand you -- I saw your first post and immediately thought "huh? why does HC think there are 2 groups?", but I just realized I may have completely missed a difference in the role spoilers for the baddies. Note to self: red text ≠ all the same description.

Yes, I'm going to go do this now to confirm. Will post findings in a second.

After thinking about it, I'm actually pretty sure there are two groups of baddies that we're dealing with, which is why I'd like to look at those role spoilers more closely right now. Furthermore, I would venture to guess that because we had 2 goons, we could unfortunately be looking at more baddie specialist roles, like another blocker circulating out there.

Not only does this not feel very basic anymore (although, only 2nd game, so what do I know), but the village now feels a whole lot smaller 🙁

I will be smidge annoyed if there are actually two packs in a "basics" game. Multiple groups working independently makes voting analysis much less powerful and begs balancing elsewhere.

@dyachei, @Lupin21... those labels are correct, right? Not just a slip falling into mafia style?

Here they are. I took out the spoiler formatting so they can be read together more easily, but otherwise these are identical to what was posted.

You have lynched Raf

A werewolf GOON

24 players remain. Night deadline is 9 am

The mob circled with pitchforks and rope at the ready. With frenzied animalistic enthusiasm, @Zensing was lynched.

She was Werewolf Roleblocker

It is now night. Deadline 7 AM EST

Jilary was strung up.

She was

A mafia goon

I am dubious about the two-pack hypothesis.

1) It's a basics game.
2) It is typical for different groups to have different colors, and these have all been red.

Obviously neither of those kills the idea, but I lean toward it just being a mix of "basic" roles incorporated in to one wolf/mafia group.

I'll have to go back and find it, but like I noted earlier - I was late coming to the game so my reads were really just quick-skim with gut-feeling and I tallied "villager" vs "wolf" based on posts. Zensing had 2 after my first cycle in the villager column. It's that simple. I moved over to voting later as the game progressed.

Anyway, I can go find the posts later tonight, maybe, but I kinda think I'm just going to check out for a while. This vote is going to Jilary, then night, then next lynch isn't for 36 hours. I need to step away and de-stress.

Note: I'm not looking for any consideration. I harp on the "work sucks I've been busy" posts all the time, and I expect to be held to it, too. So lynch me if you're ACTUALLY suspicious. But I think if you reflect on it, you'll realize this is my typical villager play. *shrug*
Would still like those reads/posts re:Zen if possible, too. 🙂

was entirely a slip on my part. mafia/werewolf indicates the same thing
