Background Check Question

I was accepted into a school on December 1 and completed the certiphi background check like I was supposed to. This week, I was lucky enough to come off the waiting list at my state school (Cheap! 😀). They say in the information packet that I need to complete the background check through certiphi and I will be contacted by email.

My question is, am I going to be contacted by certiphi again to do a background check? Or will they just automatically send the information to my state school from when I completed it in December?

You should have gotten an ApplicationStation email that would allow you to do the background check. I got this very shortly after December 1st. Check your spam or call the school and ask them to have Certiphi resend the email.

If you already completed the background check once through Certiphi, you should not have to do it again. The ADEA should have the results on file from the first time, but you can always contact your state school to be sure this is the case.

Yup, you're good. Just contact the school to make sure they got the release form forwarded to them with the results. It should have been done automatically by certiphi.👍
