Background check?

Sorry for the name, but I am applying to DO schools also. I appreciate your time. I have never done a background check on my self. However, my friend has a warrant for his arrest, and he did not even know it. Therefore, my concern is are you accepted to medical school and know you are accepted before they do a background check? Then do they tell you the results of the background check so that you can confirm that it is true? Just curious because my friend was innocent and just had to go to court to explain himself.

You can do a background check on yourself prior to the schools... Are you concerned about something, haha. They accept you prior to the background check. You must have it prior to matriculation.
