Do you guys have a back up plan, like what you're gonna do in the mean time, if you don't get accepted into med school the first time around?

hah -yep - i think i'm going to work in a lab in england (some people we have been collaborating with for a while) or pursue a masters there through some sort of program (hopefully free!). should be interesting either way things work out.

move to Europe. either retake MCAT in April or apply to nursing programs.

I had good GPA and MCAT so my backup was to bolster my medical related ECs, of which I had almost none, and reapply. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary.

I ended up not needing mine, but my backup plan was to join the military.
