How important is a grade in Anatomy class for the dental admission?
I just got a B- in Anatomy and Physiology class and its the lowest grade that i ever got in my 2.5 years of college education.
My GPA would still be 3.8 (cum) and around 3.9(sci).

I highly agree.... this can really hurt your chance of getting into a dental school. I mean, with a B- in such an important class, you are really pushing it. ALso, because it is SUCH an important class, you most likely should take more upper year courses in anatomy and physiology so that the admissions committee will see that you are capable of handling the curriculum. Also, because it is not the most challenging course out there, it really shows a weakness on your part to handle this material. If the committee sees that you are starting to slack at this stage of the game, you might want to re-consider dentistry as a profession...

A&P is important to do well in b/c first year dschool has a lot of it..... is a B- good.. NO!!... but the question is... will you be fine? yes!! if you do well on the DAT.... i bet you every person that posted negative has a much lower GPa.... you are a good student and should be proud.....

I'll be the 1st to admit that my GPA isn't a 3.9, but posting and crying about you ONE B- seems a bit silly

Go for a run, chase some squirrels, or do anything else that can help you relax, because it's not really "Bad Bad !!!! Help !!!!!! If the grade annoys you that much, spend the next year and a half taking advanced physio, comparative anatomy, or etc. to show that you know how to handle these classes.

You are fine but just be aware that a lot of dental material will probably be handled like the Anatomy and Physiology class i.e. intense rote memorization.

when you say a B- ... dose your school gie GPA points on -/+ ?? Or will you transcript just show a B? My school we only get A,B,C's and so on... so the dental school would never know if it was an 89 or an 81... it sucks really bad tho because there is a big difference in the two grades...
