So this is a scenario.

Let's say you took DAT last year and did bad.
And you retook DAT this year and did excellent!

But before your new DAT score was updated, you submitted all of your primary/secondary application.

Although you indicated on AADSAS DAT section, that you took new DAT,

I wonder if schools make decisions even before new DAT was updated.......

As soon as you retake the new DATs, the scores will be automatically sent to ADEA, and ADEA will send a new application with the new scores to all the schools.

Some schools might wait for your scores, some schools might reject you off the bat. With that said, some schools do allow you to call them and ask them to reevaluate your application, given a reasonable reason (aka, retook DATs)

Another option that some schools offer is that you can call them to have them hold your file for review, and not to review it until your new scores come in.

You could fax the copy of the score report to each school...Depending on how early you turned in your application, they may not have reviewed it yet.
