bad evaluation from resident

I just finished my second block of my intern year and my performance was graded as below satisfactory by my reisdent. We did not like each other much even though we never had any real conflicts. It is true I could have done a better job but I do not think my perfomance was as bad as what my resident described.

My attending thinks I will be fine, with improvement in some areas.

Now I wonder how important my resident's evaluation is and how much that would affect me.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

You will get many, many evaluations over the year, and the important thing is that you show continuing improvement. As long as this type of evaluation doesn't become a pattern for you, you should be okay.
