Hi, I got my NDBE part 1 score 82, which is bad, and my gpa is 2.79. Do you guys think that I still have a chance to apply or just retake? although I had several years experiences back in my own country and a master degree here. Thanks for your input.

If you have time to retake it, go for it. I had similar scores. My NDBE was 84 and my GPA was 2.88! I had a good TOEFL 115 to compensate, years of experience and a very good resume , so I had no problem getting interviews.
That could be your case. But I wouldn't take the risk.
If you have no time, it won't hurt to try

In my case, if I decided to retake the NDBE I would know what to do to improve my scores.. what I noticed that was the most helpful was studying through released exams.. And I did it only on the last 4 days before my exam. So I would focus more on that. Maybe you have a better idea on how to improve now

Good luck and trust yourself.

Sorry to hear about your score. I totally agree with Appu. If you have claimed eligibility give your best shot by preparing well. If not don't worry too much about part 1 score and try to work on your resume. Make it up with part 2 score.

Oh that is true.. I forgot about that. Starting this year we are not allowed to retake the board once we pass 🙁

SO I would give the same advice as others.. Compensate with good NDBE part II, TOEFL and resume..

Like Brengy said, we still don't know what will happen with scores and they might drop.

Good luck

You've mentioned that you had plenty of interviews but any luck getting into a school?.

Toothless: I interviewed at 3 schools for the international program and was accepted in all of them.

happylife: I think if you have an average score the hard part is getting an interview invitation.. After that, your score is not important anymore, everyone is considered to be in the same level. Your hand skills and personal skills will count the most. so your experience might help you, don't lose hope.

Got a score of 84 and GPA 3.81. What chances do i stand and which schools can i apply?

I agree with ilovegolden. Try to do a good resume and you will get an interview. Good luck

You will have many chances to get in if you can get a more than 100 on TOFLE score and a well prepared resume. I got only 84 on NBDE1, GPA 3.01 and 102 TOFLE. I got accepted at 2 schools.
Don't worry, well prepared and you can do it.
Best luck!
