Hey, fellow Pre-meds.

I was just curious as to how you all balance your workload of pre-reqs for med school while doing the required classes for college, such as Philosphy and History.

I got a B on my History mid-term. I'm not pleased with it, but on the other hand I had a Chem I test and a Cal I test to study for in that 2 day interval.

Advice? Comments? Anything?

Spread out your pre reqs - I did and loved taking my non-science classes. If you want, take pre reqs over the summer. Definitely don't take multiple at the same time if you don't want to.

I was working full time when I started college and completed a lot of my gen ed requirements early since they were easier for me but now I only go to school full time rather than work full time and since I didn't balance them out well, I pretty much just take all science and math classes now. I might have one or two thrown in there that won't be science or math which will be nice. It would probably have been nice to have had more of a balance between them all.
