in topscore test3 question # 69 it gives you a redox reaction to balance, but doesn't say if it's in acidic or basic solution, how am i supposed to know ???😕 I need to know to balance the H and O, how can you tell if it's in acid or base if they don't tell you???

You don't need to know the acid or base to balance. If they dont tell you, assume it is acid. And you have to follow the rule to balance H and O, you dont need to know acid or base to balance the H and O
