Looking for housing in the Baltimore downtown area, specifically in the following neighborhoods:

Otterbein
Federal Hill/Riverside
Canton
Fell's Point
Inner Harbor East

Will be a resident at JHU starting June 12th (Sinai for internship and then the main hosp for 3 years)...

Thanks!

Out of all the areas you are looking at Fed Hill is the only decent area.

If you are looking to live downtown, I would also check out Canton, Fells Point, Inner Harbor East, area around University Maryland Medical school, Mount Vernon. Just outside of downtown, there is the Hopikins undergrad campus and closer to Sinai is Mt Washington.

Most locations downtown you will have to park on the street (couple a garages but will cost you an arm and a leg) and a 50% change of having your car broken into or damaged and will always have shady characters walking around at night! Just my experince of living downtown and then after a year moving to the burbs.

My condo is about a 10 min drive to Sinai

Feel free to ask me any questions about the different areas.
