I hate to make a special post for this, but... 😉

1) I need a really good place to eat on Saturday night. Something local, something fairly reasonable and something really, really, really good. 😀

2) If anyone from out of town is going to be in Baltimore this weekend for the UM interviews PM me. I'd like to meet fellow applicants.

3) While I'm out there I'm going to look at apartments. If anyone has places NOT to go, can you PM those to me too?

I live in Maryland and will be attending UM in 2010. Good luck and hope I will be seeing you in the fall. But, if you have a hotel close to the school then you are not far from the inner harbor. The inner harbor has a million places to eat, some not badly priced and others very expensive. I would try and go walk around there for a bite. Try some Maryland crabs or crabcakes if you want something local. I think that is as local as you can get. There are a few apartments that are close to the school that you should check out. I think they gave out some flyers about the apartments when I visited. As far as places not to go in the area, I guess I would say to use your common judgement, but I don't know of any specific places not to go. Hope this helps any! :luck:

I'd check out Phillips in Harbor Place(Light Street Pavillion) for good seafood...or any of those restaurants in Harborplace, really. Power Plant is fun too but I wouldn't party too much the night before the interview! Good luck!
