my girlfriend just got me Barron's DAT book today at barne's and nobel. it's $40 and I was wondering if this is a good one to study from or if it's a waste of money?

Yes, barron is a good book and you def. need it.

Tell your girlfriend to get a refund. That book is a piece of garbage. Whoever wrote that book along with the editors deserve to be sentenced to 20 years of hardcore manual labor in a North Korean concentration camp.

Stick with AP guides for various subjects, ACS guides for general/organic chemistry, achiever, etc.

its good but not sufficient. You need to add the kaplan blue book and a bunch of practice tests (Topscore, achieve, cdm etc..) Oh, and cliffs ap biology.

I conquer with other people, I had barron's AP biology and it has tons of mistake. So I am sure that Barron's DAT has it too.

I liked the kaplan blue book and use Cliff's AP for bio section. That should be good for bio-section.
