Ok, normally I use the Kaplan's blue book..

However, I was looking at Barron's DAT book.. I heard of their error-filled practice test.. but i'm talking about their science review material. What do you guys think? I find it quite nice, as it explains more than the KAPLAN.. plus its much better organized than KAPLAN.. i dunno.. i jus dun wanna be learning too much or too little..

thanks

appreciate it

i think chem and o chem are pretty good to review the basic stuff. at least read kaplan's once to know remember everything and use barron's to review the key concepts.

stay away from the bio section though. it's a little more in depth then you seem to need to know. and look back a few weeks, i posted a thread that lists some of what i think are the right answers for some of the questions...

So do you think the Kaplan's Bio is enough for the real DAT? Or is it good to go thru the Schaums' bio too to be on the safer side? I normally read the Kaplan Blue book for bio, chem and org. But sometimes i feel like their bio might not be good enough for the real DAT. And what about the PAT - which one is good: Dat achiever or acethedat? Guys anyone who can help me with these questions 🙂

Is the Kaplan Blue book that everyone is talking about the same as the big white Kaplan review book you get when you take the Kaplan class?

yea pretty much, but the blue book has practice tests and lacks the review questions the white one has... but review notes are same.

well, i think the white book's short questions are very basic too. I would not get the white book just for those questions. Use the blue one and get some full length practice tests
