Is the PAT part of Barron's enough to help prepare for the actual DAT? I tried Kaplan and it seems a bit easy.

barron's has a couple mistakes, some of the answers make no sense

Hole punching on the real DAT is much harder than in Kaplan's. Also the angles in Kaplan are too easy. I used topscore for practice tests and I felt that it was more representative of what I saw on the test.

NO. I tried that my last time through and it did not prepare me very well. I got a 14...which is the only reason I did not get into dental school (and the only reason I'm retaking the exam). Barron's offers some good strategies, but do not use it as your only resource. Good luck.

Barron's is okay if you're desparate for some more practice PAT questions, but I would not rely on it by itself (some mistakes, older looking format). I recommend TopScore and especially DAT Achiever. Once you have a solid grasp of the PAT, move on to Achiever to really test your abilities.
