Hello everyone. My ultimate goal is medical school and I was wondering if it's more attractive for medical schools to see Barry University Biomedical Masters on my education list or Drexel's Interdisciplinary Health Sciences? Since I've been accepted. Not sure what to choose, any tips?

Does Barry have a med school where you might be able to link to? or take classes? or is an established name in your area? does barry have a history of placing students in medical school with your gpa and mcat?

The name means very little once u get into medical school.

I don't know anything about the Barry program, but that Drexel program would be a bad choice. It's designed for people to get exposure in other health fields, with the assumption that they'll never get into medical school. Make sure you look at the description on their website....

I was told that the majority of students who did Marry's program and were accepted at a medical school ended up at
Nova Southeastern.

Does anyone know which med schools that Barry SMP has linkage to? I got acceptance to their SMP program in Jan.I know thats pretty late. Let me still ask you. Do you think I will have a chance to resubmit my SMP GPA in June to the med schools for 2013 admission?

Thats disheartening to hear since with grade replacement a year of retaking classes is much more fiscally sound then their SMP.
