i hope someone can help me. I just got accepted to Barry one year track. I want to go on to dental school. My starts are undergrad 2.9, graduate gpa 3.34. DAT AA18, Bio 19 GC 16, OG 17, RC 23 PAT 14, QR 14. I am so confused as to what to do. Should I got to Barry, which involves quitting my job and moving away. Or, should I take a few clases at a local state school at the graduate school, which will allow me to keep working full time. Part of me thinks I should not go, and simply study for the DAT and try to get into dental school, and part of me thimks if I dont go to Barry, and stioll dont get into dental school, that i wont forgive myself. Any suggestions would be great

So you already have a graduate degree? Is it in a science? If so, I would just apply. On the other hand, if you don't mind extra debt but a solidified spot in dental school, go to Barry.

If I were in your shoes, I would NOT go to Barry. Not because Barry's not for you or is bad in any way, it just sounds like you aren't sure of yourself and aren't sure what the program will bring you other than the second master's degree.

I would retake the DAT. That PAT score is pretty low and will get you screened out at some places, and the rest of your scores aren't remarkable, either.

Classes. Can you take a few more science classes and get that overall GPA to a 3.0? Even though it's not much of a bump from 2.9 to 3.0, the psychological edge (can't think of a better way to put it) of having over a 3.0 on paper could make you look better.

After this year off of improving your DAT, taking a few classes, and saving some $$, I would lean toward reapplying over getting a second masters.
