Barry scholarship question

To anyone who has been accepted to Barry...did they send you a scholarship amount with your acceptance letter, or do they give you that info after you send in your deposit?... I was accepted on Dec.13 and sent in the first half of my deposit a couple of weeks ago. I was just curious because a scholarship would be helpful. Thanks for any input. Also anyone accepted to the class of 2012 graduating from Univ. of Miami this May?

I got my scholarship info along with the acceptance letter by both snail-mail and e-mail.

Interesting. I had heard that they give some sort of scholarship to most of the students that they accept. I also only received an acceptance by snail mail. I guess that is something i would have to look into. Thanks for the info!!

I was offered 20K/4yrs, and they sent me the info with my acceptance letter, both by reg mail and e-mail. I would call and inquire about it, because from what i know aren't students accepted there usually given some sort of scholarship?

I would call the dean and ask about it.

On the day of my interview I asked if I would be getting a scholarship if accepted...I was told the amount right then and also by snail mail...I don't remember and email.

I have an interview at Barry on the 17th of January.....for those of you accepted into the program, were you all lead to believe you got in the day of your interview, or were you shocked to find out you got in when they notified you by email/mail? I’m just curious what to expect….any help/advice would be appreciated

Yah they pretty much tell you right then and there that you are accepted. It was a very laid back interview. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Good luck with your interview!

Haha, well you mean those that the admission committee is interesting in are accepted right away and in person...hopefully, I'll be included in that list….thanks UMCanesMD

I was accepted on the spot and knew about my scholarship as well. At least it was nice to not have to wait. 😀
