Is it necessary to memorize this pathway...I wouldnt do it for one question, but did anyone get 5 questions on it? I know the basic pathway, but indirect vs. direct, and how it all ties together...its an ass-whipping.

Not a single question on my exam about the BG loop. I didn't even have a single question about the Papez circuit!

i think the diagram in first aid is sufficient as long as you write in the (+) and (-) signs where appropriate.
