hey guus,

Does anyone know if the ABA makes exceptions to the exam dates? I was supposed to take my exam this morning but was unable to due to unavoidable issues. I’m going to call the ABA on Monday, but does anyone know if they’ll have me wait until June for the next exam? I’m sort of freaking out here.

Fairly certain there are only very specific weeks during the year that you can take the test. Bigger question is if they make you pay the whole fee again or just a few to reschedule. Good luck.

They will almost certainly not make an exception to the exam dates but life goes on. Send an e-mail to your program director about the situation. And doubly make sure to pass it when you take it.

Luckily it’s offered twice a year. Question of whether you’ll get a “fail” or incomplete, I’d call the ABA directly and inform your PD ASAP.
