I did a search for this but couldn't find a straight forward answer.

I've been working on my AADSAS application through the AADSAS 2010 website. I just got an email that said I should apply soon for the Dec. 1st deadline.

I'm planning on applying May 2010, for next cycle.

Will I still be using the AADSAS 2010 internet application when I apply in May 2010? Or will it switch to AADSAS 2011?

Will all my work get deleted when the new application comes up?

Thanks for any help 🙂

It will switch and you will be given a new id and everything. So make sure to save all your material.

Joking, right?

I had problems like that with other application services (other than dental).

I assume my ID will stay the same, but will all my course work and ECs have to be filled in again?

Please tell me you're joking. 🙁

Everything will be new. You will have to fill out everything again (that is how it was last year as well).
Your ID will be new, also the website changed a little bit from 2009 version as well.

Haha, not joking. I created a login name last cycle cause I considered applying in late August, but because my DAT was only a 19 I didn't think I had a great chance. So I started filling out the app and everything. When the new cycle opened this year I had to create a new login name and they gave me a new AADSAS ID. Just make word files of all your information. Then just copy and paste it when you apply. It won't be a problem.

Darn it! 😡

When does the 2011 application become available?

Probably next June 1st. I think it was the 7th this year. It changes.

Bummer!

Well thanks a lot for the help. I'll definitely make a back up in Word!!
