I spoke to a friend today, and she told me to only consider schools in which you learn the basic sciences along with med students. She said that it is more tough, but you will do better on the boards because of it. Do any of you guys concur?

would this friend happen to be a med student? 😉 Medical school classes are no harder than dental classes. Plus you run the risk of missing some pertinent dental related info that a med school class wouldn't normally cover or would gloss over quickly.

oh, definitely no bias there. 😀 Seriously, if there were truly any significant correlation between simultaneous instruction with the med students and improved board scores every dental school in the country (that had the opportunity) would be combined; it is a huge money saving situation for the school. Just my thoughts.
