Guys I want to know what I should study in order to get the basics / concepts for Chem and Bio ahead of the next semester. I have 6 weeks 'til I go back I don't want to waste all the time. I withdrew from both Bio and Chem but I kept my books and syllabus'. I'll be getting new teachers for next semester when I retake so they might have their own syllabus'. With Bio the teacher told us to buy 3 novels and not textbooks so I'm not sure how much help they'll be but I'm going to read 'em anyway. They are "Naming Nature: The Clash Between Instinct and Science" by Carol Kaesuk Yoon.

For Chemistry I have a textbook but I'm not sure what to study though.
Give me a hand what are the basic concepts I should learn?

C'mon guys any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uh, learn the sections listed on the syllabi? The material covered in general chem and bio isn't going to change that much from teacher to teacher...Learn stoichiometry, nomenclature, bonding, orbitals, quantum numbers, basic acids/bases, etc for chem. For bio learn cell structure, organelles, species classification, processes like respiration, difference between autotrophs/heterotrophs, etc, honestly intro bio is pretty broad...
