Hey guys earlier this week I got an email from Lynn stating they were having some technical issues and I had to resend my letters of recommendation, resume, and essay. It appears they had some issues with some peoples' application so that may be cause for delay. Keep your head up!
Did you email first and she told you? or did she email you? Thanks
how do you REsend the recommendation letters? Don't you have to ask the person to REwrite it since you don't have the copy for these stuff?

I originally sent all my application to Lynn via email, and had everything saved to my computer, so I just re-sent it. Also she emailed me first indicating they did not have my materials on file, but I told her I had previously sent them months ago and that is when she stated something about having technical issues; so I just sent it again.
What about the supplemental paper letter of rec forms? Did you scan those? Or were those filled out electronically?
I scanned everything and sent it as an email originally and I saved it to my computer.
Does this count as the "second week of April"? Has anyone heard anything via email yet?
This is the last school I have to hear from. Even though I already know I will not be attending, I just want to hear back already! haha

Hi all, I emailed Lynn today and here is the response I recieved back about decisions:
Yes, everyone is eager to hear. The recent date to review applications was cancelled and I am awaiting a new date soon.
I ask for your patience and hopefully you will hear before the end of April.

do you know if all the applicants receive the acceptance call, and THEN receive the letter via e-mail?
Hotpebbles, I don't know for all applicants but at the time I applied Lynn told me that I will know about their decision via email.Instead I received a call from her that I was accepted and I was going to receive an official acceptance letter via email.

She didn't give that info. Just said I'll be getting a letter with all I needed to know basically.
Would those of you who have been accepted mind posting your stats? And is everyone that has been accepted planning on attending? I'm going crazy over here.

Overall was a 3.4. Pre-Req 4.0 so far. Taking Anatomy and Physiology 2 right now. Still have to send in one recommendation... she said she didn't get my second. 100 hours Hospital. 100 hours Nursing Home. Just started a few other volunteer stuff on January. No GRE.
Does anyone know if Bay Path has an alternate list? I still haven't herd back from them. Lynn said that applicants would have heard back by the end of March. I tried calling her this week but all I got was her voicemail. So I'm not sure where I stand?
I haven't heard either; the website said between February and March, but when I emailed Lynn back in January she said by the end of March. But now a few people have said by the end of April so who really knows?!?

I was accepted this past Monday (April 22)! I'm supposidely going to get an official email within a week of Monday, but I haven't gotten anything yet.

Where did you find the 30,000 job offer? Can you sign up for a deal like that before graduating?
Also, if you since you are from the area would you consider Springfield College to be better or worst than Bay Path College's OT program?

for those of you that got accepted, do you know when the financial aid package is mailed?? anyone already got it?
I haven't received anything back yet. I sent my deposit in last week. I got an email from Lynn yesterday about Graduate housing options and meal plans but that's it.

i sooooooo want to know if the class is filled or not, but just cannot contact lynn again because it seems like i'm too desperate (but of course i am)..... to keep e-mailing/calling every 2 weeks.

Congrats to those who were accepted and to those who haven't heard anything yet, hang in there! I was accepted in the middle of March and was also accepted into D'Youville College, Springfield College and wait-listed for SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Although SUNY Downstate is my preferred choice, I am planning on attending BPC due to it's cheaper tuition than the remaining two programs I got into and the duration of the program is only 2 years as opposed to 3 years like the other two. Does anyone have any info on BPC's MOT program? Anyone currently in the BPC MOT program and would like to share some insight? I was a bit startled when I read on their website that they suffered some serious declines in the NBCOTE results in 2009. Anyone else feel skeptical?
The deadline for returning registration forms is May 15. Once that deadline has passed Bay Path will have a clearer picture of how many slots remain in the 2013 cohort. I know that doesn't help much, but it appears that the lull in new acceptances might be related to this. Check out Tara Brach's webinars if you have a few minutes for mindfulness practice in the meantime.
