Does anyone have a good feel for the 'state of the program' at Baylor COM? I did not get a good feel for the direction of the program when I was there. My overall impression was that the training was overall pretty good depending on what you want to go into (They have only 3 EP staff and no advanced EP program), but the politics seemed very thick and difficult to discern in one interview day. The relationship with THI seems to be a topic which many did not discuss in great detail. They are opening the new Baylor hospital (private) which seems to be suggest Baylor COM and THI will separate from each other. This seems to be a big loss for the program in general, but again, I couldn't get a good feel for where things were going. Just wanted to see if anyone else had any comments that might be helpful as folks start to formulate their rank lists. Thanks!
