Baylor MSTP decisions?

Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks for all the time and effort everyone has put in to make SDN such a great resource 👍 !!!

My restlessness has prompted me to my first post. Has anyone heard from Baylor's MSTP yet? I interviewed Dec 4th, and during my visit I was told that a few people would hear back before Christmas but the majority of offers are made after everyone has interviewed. They had their last interview weekend a couple of weeks ago. I got an email from Vanessa Hatfield, one of their program coordinators, last Friday that said they are now reviewing all interviewed applicants. Offers are made by phone, and waitlists/rejections via snail mail.

I know it's only been a week, but an excruciating week at that. Baylor is by far my top choice, and I would LOVE to go there. I haven't had any other offers, so this might be my only option - hence my antsyness. Anyone out there who heard ANY news from Baylor in the past week?

Thx thndr, I just got that e-mail too 🙁. I guess wait-listed is better than rejected.

I just talked to the MSTP coordinator, who told me that it's likely that we won't hear anything until late April. Apparently, a lot of accepted people are holding their offers (much more so than usual), and so it is unlikely that there will be much change until April 30th when they have to decide.

All you fellas out there with multiple offers: if Baylor's not on your top 2 list, please withdraw and relieve us waitlisters (waitlistees? waitlistedees?) of our agony!!!! I know it's hard to make a decision unless you have to, but if Baylor's not a likely choice then say so!!! Sorry, just needed to vent 🙂
