Baylor Primary App for OOS Applicants

I am currently filling out my Baylor app after filling out the secondary Baylor app, and there are a few additional questions they ask you.

Please explain your reasons for wanting to attend a Texas Dental School.

How long do you guys think they expect these responses to be? There is no maximum character cutoff, and basically it's a "fill what you need" type of thing, but my answers are all around 400 characters (short paragraph) and I'm not sure if they want something closer to a secondary application response (1k+). Any help is appreciated.

Also they just told me they will be accepting 8 OOS applicants this year.

Only 8? Wow. That is competitive. They told me that they can only guarantee 2 spots for Arkansas residents. Which is what I am. So I am competing with many Arkansas residents just for two spots.

I saw some older stat from 09. Baylor let in 9 OOS that year, and Houston/SA one each.

Are your paragraphs more towards the 700 char paragraphs, or 400?

I didn't really count. If I had to guess, I'd guess towards the 500 or so characters
