I'm trying to decide where to apply for 4th year electives in Houston, TX (my significant other will be in law school there). Which programs should I look into?

I don't have any direct knowledge, but my advisor told me to "avoid the Baylor programs, they have some problems". Two attendings who both went to St. Joe's for residency and are among the most compassionate physicians I know. Good luck deciding.

i would definitely say ut houston memorial hermann. i think it's the best program in houston. i did my elective at baylor which was fun, but i kinda regret not having done it at ut houston

Thanks so much! What about the differences between LBJ and Methodist?

Also, is the Methodist program stable, since it just got bought by Methodist?
