BC PAT Keyhole problem

Can anyone help me with visualizing this keyhole problem. For the front view, it looks like the far left vertical line of the top structure doesnt match up with the left vertical line in the middle. Does this have to do with the top structure being further back?

yep, you're absolutely right! If you were to "slide" that top part to the front of the structure, it looks like it would in fact line up with that left vertical line in the middle
