I’ve never heard of the US sij injections being denied. When I’ve looked up the evidence for Fluoro vs ultrasound the data has always shown equal efficacy. I only do them under fluoro, but it’s surprising to see that in their policies.

This kind of thing is fantastic. Patients will do the math and just cash pay the injection.

it has been denied by Medicare for many years now.

when they "made" 27096, fluoro was embedded in to that cpt as a requirement.
