Do dental schools look heavily look at BCP GPA or are they usually just interested in overall GPA. My reason for asking is because, like many, I had a rough start... I got a C, D, and F, in 3 bio classes. The thing is that my major is kinesiology, which is considered science, and my grades in those are B's and A's, which will bring my science GPA up. If I have a high over all science GPA, around 3.3, but my BCP GPA is only around 3.0, would that hurt me?

BCP is far more important than science, that is what I was told by USC, NYU, and BU

I have questions. Does neurocience classes consider BCP or science GPA
Thanks

I think they value your DAT score most then they look at your BCP... Maybe I am wrong.

well, i don't think they count neuroscience classes into the BCP gpa. I'm a neuroscience major at nyu and like many of you, i had a rough start with principle bio. my neuroscience grades are mostly A, A-, yet my BCP doesn't reflect that... just FYI =)

Really? AADSAS classified my NPB class (Neurophysiology and behavior) as BCP... I guess there're still quite some discrepancy when it comes to BCP vs. science.
