I've calculated my GPA:

*Other Science (without BCP): 4.0
BCP: 3.13
Non-Science: 3.93
Overall: 3.739

*EDIT:* Science GPA (BCP + Math / Other Science): 3.6

With all of the credits I have in non-science courses, I'm ready to take strictly BCP courses for the rest of my undergrad.

I'm 30 credits away from graduating (because of transfer credits from university) but it's my second year in university.

Should I slow down my graduation plans and spend more time in undergrad to raise that BCP?

Thanks

If you can get bcp to a 3.4-3.5 I think you'll be okay. I wouldn't slow down graduation plans just make sure you don't bring it down anymore
Good luck

Doing well on the DAT would negate many issues with having a lower BCP since all of your other grades look solid.

Try to get your overall science GPA to 3.5 or higher.

What science classes did you take that were not biology, chem or physics that you have a 4.0 in? I'm also guessing you are from Canada or somewhere not in the US given your phrasing. I'm confused what you mean about your credits transferring from university but you are second year in university? Did you go to a community college or something and then transfer to a 4 year program?

When are you applying? and yes, you should take strict BCP for the next 30 hours if possible. Don't overload yourself though, it may drop your GPA a lot.

By the way, your 3.13 isn't your science GPA, that's your "other science" GPA. Your science GPA consists of BCPM (bio, chem, physics, math).

How can your science gpa be 4.0 if your BCP is so low? Science gpa calculates in BCP

I took Geology course & Computer Science courses to boost the Science GPA.

I'm from canada yes.

Also -- In high school I did a dual credit program (through a CC) in the U.S where I received an Associates Degree and a High school diploma.

I was calculating just my Geology, Computer Science & Math courses into the Science GPA.

So, my "Other Science" would include the Geology/Compsci Courses ... & my Science GPA will be (Biology,Chem,Physics, Statistics, Calculus, Linear Algebra etc)?

These classes don't carry much weight with them.

I agree. Even though they are science classes, they probably won't carry any more weight for admissions than say a history class will.

best thing to do from here on out is strictly BCP sciences?

I would say so. I'd focus on taking and acing courses that admissions requires and looks at heavily (i.e. BCP courses). Just out of curiosity, does math count more heavily than bird courses? Because I majored in mathematics and it was not easy, there were a lot of very difficult conceptual and proof based 2nd-4th year courses that a lot of people did quite poorly in. Am I screwed having taken math?

You need to take only upper level biology or chemistry courses simple as that.
