I know anthropology classes do not count towards BCPM, but would a class called biological anthropology be can exception? Here is the course description:

Human biological evolution, including the biology of contemporary human groups, non-human primate social behavior, and the fossil, biochemical, and molecular evidence for human evolution. Includes a laboratory study of human population genetics, biochemical variation, and anatomical diversity in modern and fossil human and non-human primate groups..

Is it offered by the Bio department or the Anthro department?

If it is offered by Bio....then it will probably go into your Bio GPA. If not, you can make a case for it but ultimately it will be up to AAMC. They may fix it when they verify your app if you classify it wrong.

i'm a bioanthropology major. at my university it counts towards the biological sciences
