Hi everyone,

I'm new here but have been reading the forums for a while now. I tried to do a search to answer my question but couldn't find anything. My question is:

I know that ADCOMS look carefully at the BCPM, but I was wondering if the next GPA figure they look at is the AO or the Cumulative? Is one more important than the other? I mean, the Cumulative essentially averages the BCPM and AO...it's just that my AO is significantly higher than my BCPM (3.9 versus 3.5, putting my cumulative at 3.7).

Should I worry about the discrepancy? Thanks so much everyone, I really appreciate your feedback.

so, what are you worried about?

Cumulative is given more weight than AO. Your grades are still quite good, however, so it shouldn't be a problem unless the 3.5 is from all C's in O-chem or something like that.

You're fine. Most people have a higher cumulative than BCMP GPA (mine is) and a 3.5 is pretty good either way.
