Scribe job.
1. A job in hand is worth 18 in theory.
2. If your only goal is to gain clinical experience, scribing is one of the best ways to do that as a premed (low entry barrierirect exposure ratio)
Only other things that may factor in: do you have any other commitments right now?
Scribing was a fantastic look into the life of a physician and you learn a lot of relevant material for later, especially regarding charting and SOAP notes.
Scribing really is fantastic. You get lots of clinical experience. You get to see doctors at work. You get to see current inter professional teams at work. You will also get opportunities to interact with specialists and so on when they pop into the ED.
The best part is that you'll get to see the problems with our healthcare system as a direct observer. You never know what will pop up during interviews. I had several meaningful discussions with my interviewers about what I perceived as the biggest problems in our healthcare system and how ultimately the patients are affected.
ETA: I wrote my response assuming you will be scribing in the ED. It is a good opportunity regardless where you will be.
