I’m buying Solana, Sui, Aptos, Avalanche, NEAR protocol, BTC, Dogecoin and dogwifhat. Besides ETH, anyone excited about a certain token?
 
Stocks were down today. Is crypto starting to disassociate from stocks?
 
now lets consolidate for a few months at 110-125 esp through the summer lull. Then i'd love to see QE start happening with us already in the 120-130 range. That would be pouring gas on the fire and maybe lead to a higher parabolic top then we all thought?

Lets see how the week and month closes.

Yes historically the cycle *top* has been 18-ish months post-halving, so fall/winter of the following year.

Whether or not the 4-year cycle is still, or will continue to be, a thing? That remains to be seen 🤷‍♂️

Lol. I meant to say Bitcoin.

For me crypto is synonym with Bitcoin because I don't think the other coins are legit.

I would be cautious about Bitcoin and crypto in general when Trump is at the end of his presidency.

Seems like everyday someone new is allocating. Did you imagine this happening this cycle? I take what ark invest says with a grain of salt and maybe use their bear case as a guide of 300k in 2030. Hopefully we are getting close to the 1% instituitional allocation in her bear target numbers assumptions. This gamestop buy is 3%.

$GME sits on 4.5 billion in cash and they didn’t use any of that for purchasing $BTC. They borrowed via junk bonds.

Years back the CEO of JP Morgan said he would fire any employee who owned Bitcoin. I guess he sees where the puck might be going with increased adoption, customers not needing to sell and incur taxes, loosening regulations and of course the fees his bank can acquire facilitating the loans. The tradeoff is this will increase leverage in the system until a bubble forms and then pops.

Personally I won’t Hodl all my capital at a bank. The chances for lock up during a systemic event or another Executive Order 6102 on Bitcoin I think is higher than most people want to believe. These Banks want as much Bitcoin (customers) on their balance sheets as $BTC becomes a globally adopted asset. I’ve read enough economic and monetary history to absolutely not trust the banking and federal government entities.

Stocks are basically the same amount as previous ATH too and crypto just follows.

Everyone is busy keeping up with the Trump and Elon divorce.
 
I bought $FETH at $35 in my SEP-IRA in December and have been underwater literally from Day 1. After hating it for the last 6 months, I can confidently say I’m going to happily trade it for $FBTC once it reaches a level I’m happy with. I think $ETH is starting to wake up. I’m looking at >10K. If doesn’t reach that level, I’ll be bag hodling for the next bear cycle. lol

Yes ETH is going to outperform btc like it always does. I think 6-7k if btc only gets to 140-150. For ETH to get close to 10k we are talking about a close to 200k btc? As always my numbers are sandbagged considerably.

Dude, I had high hopes that ETH would follow BTC to all time highs too. I was gonna cash out at 7k and wait for the next bear, but this is killing me.

I look at both the ETHBTC and ETHUSD charts. For my SEP-IRA account, I look at the ETHBTC chart moreso, because I want more BTC. I bought $ETH at 0.035 BTC (or about $3500). I’m looking at $ETHBTC > 0.07 BTC.

If ETH is 0.07 BTC (10K) that would equate to a $BTC price of about 140K (10000/.07). For my retirement I want $BTC. I think that will allow me to structure my retirement where BTC is the collateral and I can fund my lifestyle and ventures as I see fit. The Banks see it, that’s why so many of them are announcing offering custody and purchasing of it. Robinhood has a chance to be a mega corp with its integration of products including stocks, direct deposit, crypto trading and IRA.

You do know in 2017 cycle eth peaked at almost 1500 then dropped to 80 something. That was painful. This cycle for eth is going to be beautiful esp once rate cuts happen. The patient will be heavily rewarded. With blackrock possibly staking eth getting approval and they always get it approved who knows what could be next.

It seems like The Banks are accumulating it. Could it be for tokenizing everything (stocks, bonds, real estate, ie real world assets (RWA))? I think ETH will be a Wall Street favorite since they won’t be able to control BTC and let’s be honest, BTC is being adopted by both publicly traded companies and Sovereigns. It looks like $BTC will be the base layer for digital money. It’s amazing to see the adoption happening in real time.

Still in my $SOL $DOGE $STX positions from last June. Presently flat by crypto standards (up 15%). lol.

I entered $XRP position . The XRPUSD chart looks tasty. Even [emoji90] coins pump, and XRP has hardcore cult following.

I added to my $XMR holdings earlier this year.

Perusing other coins but have not made a move as yet.

Man I really screwed the pooch with my entrance to xrp. I sold my btc (tiny amount) and was waiting to get into xrp, saw it start to approach 3 dollars and I was like, shoot I better get in soon. Bought it around 2.6 and then it promptly dropped to 1.75 like 2 days later lol.
