Make sure to doublecheck your transcripts with AMCAS! They may match the transcripts with the wrong schools!
I have transcripts from the University of Montana (made up Montana, it's probably a school tho hehe) and Montana Community College. I received 3 emails confirming they got my MCC transcript but not my UM transcript. After getting the 3rd email, I was thinking "hmm why are THEY still sending me emails about MCC and I still haven't heard back about MU. maybe they accidentally counted both transcripts as MCC. it would be a honest mistake since both schools have 'Montana' in their names."
so, I just called AMCAS explaining the situation and I was correct! hehe, they said they'll take a few days to correct it. so, moral of the story, be proactive in this process and don't assume things will go according to plan!
you are going to need to do the samething with secondaries. you need to keep calling the admissions offices to make sure you're complete. I did this with all my schools last year except Tulane because Tulane had annoying office hours where you could only call within in a certain timeframe each week. by the time I finally called them when I had a day off work (since the day you can call is like Thursday afternoon or something), a month had gone by and they tell me they lost my secondary. they said "the computer says we received it, but it's not in your file..." I had to resend it, er. that took another few weeks...they at least confirmed they had it this time but at this point it was already November. I never heard from Tulane again hahaha. 👎 Not that I'm saying I would have gotten an interview if they hadn't lost my secondary and delayed me till November, but they basically just pocketed the $100 secondary fee, er.
