Now that the match is over, could anyone who rotated/interviewed/has knowledge of these programs share their experiences? UMich might be a longshot for me but I would like to stay in-state. Is an academic career or competitive fellowship possible from them? Any input on reputation, culture, education, etc would be appreciated. Thank you!

Beaumont ~= Henry Ford >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>?>>>>>> etc. DMC

Easily top notch fellowships and academic careers from Beaumont and Ford. Just search for old residents from both places and you'll see they go to wherever they want for fellowship. It would be tougher from DMC, but not impossible. Beaumont and Ford really just differ in location and general hospital culture, as Ford is 100% employeed physicians top to bottom and Beaumont is a mix of employed and private practice. However, the radiologists at Beaumont are employed.

Has anyone heard how many of Wayne state's spots filled? There was some drama/hesitancy in 2015 match. Has it resolved?

The NRMP Match Data comes out sometime in May (May 27th later year according to a press release on their site, but document is dated April 2015, so not sure) each year and then we will know all the programs that didn't fill. Usually, there is someone who posts the list that went through SOAP but this year it doesn't appear that many people had to SOAP rads so we haven't gotten a list early.
