Maine med vs Alleghany DR program thoughts and opinions?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone had any information on these programs, either doing/completing residency there or an away. Deciding which one to do an away right now and need to decide by the weekend.

Maine has an excellent IR program and a very friendly/engaged faculty in all specialties.

Small sample size but the limited number Maine Med trainees I've come across were very good and spoke highly of their program. One of them went back to work for them I believe.

Never run across an Alleghany trainee, but that could be a location thing.
