So I've been struggling with what I want to do in life...and I'm slowly starting to lean towards being a vet. I want to work as a receptionist in a clinic first to get my feet wet and see if this is truly something I want to do. Have any of you done this and what was your experience with it?? I'm really just curious about how you guys all got going in this field and what's the best way to go about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) thanks!

go for it and work at a clinic. But don't be discouraged if you get hired as a kennel student cleaning kennels, walking dogs and sweeping. We were all there once, so if you can even get yourself into a vet clinic to start - no matter what position- then do it.
