I've heard about how the calculator has limited functions, is a waste of time, etc. I am currently starting the Math Destroyer. Under what conditions should I allow myself to visit my calculator on my computer? Should I just learn to ditch the calculator altogether as I'm practicing? Thanks!

Many of my students feel that the calculator wastes a lot of precious time when taking the DAT and feel that the calculations on the DAT can easily be solved without it. So I agree with ditching the calculator as you stated.

Good luck in your studies and on the DAT!

For some simple things I used the calculator. But for the most part....there was no need for it. I took the DAT twice so I guess I saw more questions than a lot of people.
