beh sci for step I

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I asked this question as well. I was told that Kaplan was good enough. They both said that they did very well on the BS section of boards using the Kaplan book. I'm just going to use Kaplan instead of buying HY or BRS in addition.

First Aid is NOT enough for step 1 as far as behavioral is concerned.

way too skimpy.

BRS behavioral is great because Fadem, the author, writes for the boards and BRS has questions that are very very very board like with awesome explanations throughout the book.

I read BRS behavioral before the shelf and there were several questions almost identical to the book questions.

there was NOTHING on that shelf that was not adequately covered in BRS and it is an easy, quick read.

Absolutely agreed

HY Behavioral Sci is better. Same author, more recently updated, more condensed, and a little bit cheaper. I don't remember if there are practice questions in it, though.

HY behavioral is not as good. there are NOT questions and you get what you pay for.........meaning HY is cheaper for a reason. like i said earlier BRS is readable in 1 or 2 days and there are board-like questions in it.

your choice.
